Larry Myny is Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy. For more than 40 years, he has been advising clients and helping them meet their financial objectives. He has been recognized by his peers as a leader in his field, being named to the President’s Club for 28 years and the Chairman’s Club for two years within the CIBC Wood Gundy group.
Larry is a mentor, business leader, and active community builder. He established the Larry Myny Mentorship Program in partnership with Fanshawe College Alumni Association to connect high-achieving students with a mentor within their field to help students develop transferable skills and begin building their professional networks. He is committed to giving back to his community, and actively supports a wide number of organizations, including:

To recognize his business accomplishments and contributions to the community, Larry has received a number of awards, such as the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Pillar Non-Profit Innovation in Leadership Award, Junior Achievement Alumnus Award, 15 year Volunteer Service Award from the United Way, Honourary Fanshawe College Alumnus Award, and has been nominated for the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship.
In his free time, Larry is an Honorary Lt. Col. with the 1st Hussars, a member of Forest City Community Church, Highland Golf & Country Club and the London Executive Association. He enjoys spending time playing hockey, cycling, boating, fishing, cooking and most recently riding his Harley. One of his passions is travelling, and has travelled the world extensively. He climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise money for breast cancer research, has hiked the Grand Canyon multiple times, he’s gone on a cattle drive, and organized many motorcycle trips both in Canada and the US. He also enjoys meeting new people and believes he learns something new from everyone he meets.
