The Ontario Association of Agencies Supporting Individuals with Special Needs

The Ontario Association of Agencies Supporting Individuals with Special Needs, through the sharing of ideas, resources, systems, information and liaising with the provincial government on behalf of member organizations, seeks to improve the development of cost effective quality supports for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The Alliance

The Alliance includes a number of organizations in London, Ontario with similar philosophical approaches to providing support for individuals with disabilities. By sharing human resources, equipment, policy development, issue exploration, training and community connections each member organization is strengthened in its mission to provide care and access for those with disabilities.

Focus

Focus is an accreditation agency for the developmental and human services sector. Focus seeks to ensure services meet the needs and expectations of those who use them; that services meet or exceed community standards; and, that by working with communities, the quality of services provided for people with developmental disabilities is improved.

Ontario Association of Independent Living Service Providers

The mission of the Ontario Association of Independent Living Service Providers to is present a collective voice to effect positive change in the capacity to provide services and network through peer support and professional development.

Community Living Ontario

Community Living Ontario supports the full inclusion of people who are identified as having an intellectual disability in all aspects of community living.

Ontario Association on Developmental Disabilities

The Ontario Association on Developmental Disabilities supports professionals and students in the field of developmental disabilities through the promotion of the highest standards of research, education and practice.

Ontario Community Support Association

OCSA is the voice of home and community support, representing hundreds of agencies, 25,000 staff and 100,000 volunteers across Ontario. OCSA works with members to ensure that issues which affect community services are heard and addressed by government policy makers, other health organizations, the media and the general public.

South West Local Health Integration Network

The South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is a crown agency responsible for the planning, integration and funding of nearly 200 health service providers including hospitals, long-term care homes, mental health and addictions agencies, community support services, community health centres, and the South West Community Care Access Centre. The South West covers an area from Lake Erie to the Bruce Peninsula and is home to almost one million people.
