What We Believe
We believe with support and encouragement everyone can contribute to the community in a valued and meaningful way. We include and encourage individuals to be active participants in deciding how to live their life.
Participation House Support Services encourages individuals, either alone or in consultation with their family and friends, to play an active role in the decision-making process. As such, the supports PHSS provide are unique to the needs of each individual.
Profile
It's always hard for parents and adult kids to live together but when there's a disability that makes it even harder. It's hard on relationships; hard on the disabled person who doesn't want to feel like a burden. Participation House offers and alternative – independence but with all the support that is required.
